The history of linen home production is closely interconnected with the history of “Terra de Sousa” hand embroidery at the Sousa Valley region in Portugal.
Our grandmothers tell us amazing stories about how in their youth they used to participate in the production of linen, from the sowing of the flaxseeds to the weaving of the fabric.
In order to honor the memories of organic linen production performed by our grandmothers at the Sousa Valley region we decided to revitalize this wonderful tradition of flax sowing with our own hands.
See how beautiful is a open boll of the flaxseeds of our first plantation of organic linen!
