HEARTS was founded in 2011 by Patrícia Costa and Tiago Vieira, the proud descendants of families with multiple generations of tradition in the art of hand embroidery from the Sousa valley region, in northern Portugal.
In the last years, HEARTS consolidated its presence in the global market of luxury hand embroidered textiles for fashion and home decor, and is known as an international reference in this field.
HEARTS, which was distinguished with the quality seal of the Romanesque Route, is also increasingly recognized by the public as a guardian of the memory and cultural heritage of hand embroidery in Portugal and abroad, and our hand embroidery atelier is frequently searched as a live museum for visits.
